While the HTC One is available from Verizon stores right now, and you can even order it from other retailers like Amazon and have it arrive within a couple of days. Some might want the unlocked or developer edition of the HTC One. Well those are now available for pre-ordering. Both on Amazon and HTC’s website.
On HTC’s website the developer edition is available in gunmetal gray and amber gold, while the unlocked version is available in gunmetal gray, amber gold and glacial silver. Both of which are selling for $649, which is still $50 cheaper than the HTC One (M8) Google Play Edition – still puzzling as to why it’s so expensive. HTC will be shipping out your brand new shiny HTC One (M8) in about 1-2 weeks.
Over on Amazon, they have the unlocked HTC One (M8) available in Glacial silver for $649. While the gunmetal gray and amber gold are “temporarily out of stock”. The Glacial Silver is available for pre-order now and shipping out on March 31st. While the Glacial Silver and Amber Gold are available for pre-order as well, but no word on when they will be shipping out.
So for those of you looking to pick up HTC’s latest flagship device, the One (M8), feel free to head over to either HTC or Amazon’s website and pre-order your unlocked or developer edition today. The HTC One has a 5-inch 1080p Super LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor inside with 2GB of RAM 32GB of storage and a microSD card slot. There’s also a 2600mAh battery inside and it’s running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6 on board. It’s definitely a great device, but the only downside appears to be the camera, and it’s not all that terrible actually. Unless you’re one who prints pictures you take with your smartphone.
