The LG Lucid was one of the first LG phones to land on a US carrier. Albeit a rather mid-range device, it was still quite good. I got my hands on the LG Lucid 2 last year – it was my first non-Nexus LG device ever using – and I was quite pleased with it. It had a smaller screen than most phones, but a larger battery than most phones. Which made for pretty awesome battery life. LG has really been stepping up their game when it comes to smartphones and tablets lately, and I’m sure the LG Lucid 3 will be the same way.

As you can tell from the image above, this one is headed to Verizon. After all, the Lucid branding is Verizon’s. As we can see from the picture, we’ve got some pretty small bezels here and two Verizon logos. One in the top left-hand corner and one on the back, along with their 4G LTE logo. Many of you probably also noticed that the LG Lucid 3 appears to be running Android 4.4 since it has the white status bar icons. Which is great to see, but not unexpected. Since LG did announce a ton of mid-range and low-end smartphones at Mobile World Congress last month that are all running on Android 4.4.2. Additionally, you’ll see the physical home button – which it appears they are only putting that on their low-end and mid-range smartphones – along with the back and menu capacitive buttons. Really wish they’d change that to a recents key, as the menu button is now useless in some apps like the Play Store.

It’s definitely not a bad looking device, and it’ll probably hit Verizon for around $49-99 on contract. Which isn’t a bad price either. But we do know one thing, it’s going to have pretty amazing battery life, which is something everyone can get behind. Am I right? So how many of you are interested in the LG Lucid 3?
