Verizon is holding a Hangouts on Air later this afternoon about the HTC One M8. From what I understand it’s basically a Q&A for those thinking about buying the new HTC One M8. It’s available from Verizon stores in just a few minutes, so if you really want to pick one up, you can just head out to your local Verizon Store. Verizon is asking that you submit questions on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ using the hashtag #HTCOneHangout. The Hangout will be streaming live on Google+ and Verizon’s YouTube page, which you can head over to the event page here and RSVP if you’re interested. I’d expect the hangout to last probably about less than an hour, similar to what the Moto 360 hangout was like last week.
The HTC One M8 was made official this morning sporting a 5-inch 1080p Super LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, 2600mAh battery inside and it’s running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Sense 6. It’s also available in three colors, Amber Gold, Gunmetal Gray and Glacial silver. It’ll also be available at Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile on April 10th, but those on Verizon can grab there’s as soon as 1pm ET today – which depending on when you’re reading this, it’s probably already available.
If you’re not around at 3pm ET today for the Verizon hangout, don’t be upset as it’ll be available to watch later on over on YouTube. Every Hangout on Air is recorded to YouTube so you can watch them later. In fact, that’s how we do our podcasts each week. Speaking of which, we’ll be live tonight with Episode 52 of the Android Headlines show where we’ll be talking all about the HTC One M8. So be sure to join us as well.
