We’ve thought for quite a long time that Swiftkey is one of the best keyboards out there, and I still think it is. It’s a really great keyboard and nothing else really compares to it, in my opinion. I often times run the beta of Swiftkey, which right now their beta has emoji’s, and who doesn’t love them some emoji’s. It appears that this beta has been taking the Swiftkey team a lot longer than with other betas for Swiftkey Cloud and Swiftkey Flow. But it’s also important that they work out all the bugs, so I’m fine with them taking longer.
The new beta fixes a ton of bugs, and we mean a ton. You can check out the source link below for all the bug fixes. Swiftkey has also added two new personalization options. So now you can get more accurate predictions by allowing Swiftkey to learn from your Evernote and Google+ account. Swiftkey states that they added Evernote to their personalization list after the great response they got for their Swiftkey Note app for the iPhone and iPad. The team added Google+ as they finally realized that more and more power users – and those likely to be using this beta – are using Google+, including all of us here at Android Headlines.
As stated above, this release includes bug fixes as well as some changes to the Emoji UI. Which is always welcome. You can download the latest beta here.
If you are running the last beta before this one, you’ll be prompted to update it as that beta will be expiring soon. It’s free to try, so if you’ve been on the fence about picking up Swiftkey, it’s a great way to try the app out before buying it. But in my opinion, it’s totally worth the price. How many of you out there are using the Swiftkey beta?
