It may seem like a simple task to most of you, but remember we do have new people making their way into the smartphone world and the Android world everyday. So taking a screenshot isn’t as easy as you’d think for many people. Part of our job here at Android Headlines is not just to bring you the latest news and rumors, but to educate you on these devices. They all have a ton of features, whether you think they are gimmicks or not, our job is to show you how to use everything. Which is what a lot of these How to’s are for. This time we’re taking a look at how to take a screenshot on the HTC One (M8).

To take a screenshot on the HTC One (M8), it’s very simple. Hold down the Power and Volume Down buttons together for a few seconds until you see some animation on your screen (as seen in the video below). It’s literally just that simple. Once the screenshot has been taken, you can go ahead and share it from your notification drawer, or view it. To share it, just hit the share button and choose the place you want to share it and you’re all set.

Like I said, it’s not hard to take a screenshot, but some people may not know how to do it. In fact, there are some people still upgrading from Gingerbread phones, which screenshot functionality didn’t exist on those phones. If you have any questions about anything related to the HTC One (M8) be sure to let us know in the comments down below.
