I know we're a bit late posting this, but on Thursday the Chrome team pushed out a new update to the Beta channel of Chrome for Android. It addresses plenty of fixes and is available on Google Play right now. Here's the changelog from the Chrome Releases Blog:
- 293313: Device vibrates constantly while scrolling with selected text
- 277955: NullPointerException in the tab switcher
- 150151: Chrome for Android should vibrate on long press
Known issues:
- 170673: Hyperlinked images - tap highlight doesn't cover entire image
- 274432: [Tablets] First suggestion is auto selected when we scroll the window upward
- 289768: [Android] Mobile Gmail compose page email fields do not work with Swype 3.26.*
