QuickOffice Goes Free and Offers Up 10GB of Google Drive Storage
It seems like lately Google has really been trying to push Google Drive and get more people using it. With the Chromebooks last year they offered 100GB of space, and the Chromebook Pixel offered 1TB. While the Moto X actually offers 50GB of space, which isn't bad.
Not too long ago, you may remember Google purchased QuickOffice, which we all thought meant that we'd be able to edit documents on our phones and tablets much easier with Google Docs. Well you can, but Google seems to be wanting to keep QuickOffice around a bit longer. This week they pushed out a pretty big update for the app and it looks very nice on both iOS and Android. They are also offering 10GB of free space on Google Drive for using the app, and it's good for two years. Now remember, you've got until September 26th to grab your 10GB of space, which isn't much time at all. So hurry.
Who doesn't love some free Google Drive space?
