Fiverr has just launched their own Android app, after being on iOS only for quite some time. For those that are unaware of Fiverr, they are the world’s largest marketplace for services. Whether it be bringing in more traffic, or whatever it may be, it’s a great site, with tons of gigs for just $5. With the new Android app, you have access to over 3 million gigs with just 2 swipes, now that could become dangerous.
Like many probably thought, the Fiverr app isn’t just an iOS port over to Android. It’s a separate app and it definitely looks like it. You can check out all the screenshots down below, if you’re interested. Some of the features that Fiverr is highlighting with their app is the direct and instant access to sellers with user-generated feedback and quality ratings, redesigned user interface with simple marketplace navigation, and push notifications for messages and order updates provides fast and simple on-the-go communication to fully manage your business needs.
All gigs on Fiverr start at $5 and top-rated sellers can offer single orders upwards of $8,000. Buyers are now able to collaborate directly with sellers on large-scale projects and order services while on the go. Some of these services include translation, copywriting, editing, videography, logo design, animation and much more.
“Fiverr for Android opens the service to a new segment of users who are on mobile”, stated Fiverr CEO and Co-Founder Micha Kaufman. “This year we are projecting 40% of our traffic will come from mobile. That’s why we’re so committed to investing resources to ensure we give our customers the best experience across all of their devices.”
The brand new Fiverr app is available in the Google Play Store now and you can grab it for free. Even if you’ve never used Fiverr before, it’s a good idea to check it out, as it’s a really great service and the app looks great.
