OPPO has been teasing their next flagship – the Find 7 – for a long time now. We already know that they are holding an event on March 19th, which is next week. And now we are starting to see invites hit doorsteps of those attending the event. The event invite isn’t your typical invite though. Usually it’s just an email with some fancy graphic, but this time OPPO Has gone all out. You can see the video below, from GizChina, to see what we mean. But inside the box there’s a QR code for both iOS and Android devices, along with details of the event location. Underneath there is this prism-like object which kinda looks strange looking. But scan the QR code and place your phone on top of the prism-like object, and it’ll launch a video teasing the features of the Find 7 inside the triangle. Man it’s pretty awesome.
March 19th is next Wednesday, so we should learn everything there is to know about the OPPO Find 7 next week. We’re hoping it’ll come to the US unlocked and hopefully on a carrier or two, but I wouldn’t hold my breath as OPPO is still new to the smartphone world, it’ll likely only be here unlocked. As far as the specs go, we’re looking at rumors of a 2560×1440 resolution QHD Display, as well as a 1080p model. Obviously those will have different prices. We’re also looking at a 50MP camera which somehow is done from a 13MP camera, that we’re going to have to find out more from OPPO once the device goes official, but I’m excited about that. We’re also looking at a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or 801 processor inside. This device is said to have very high-end specs, so we’re excited to see what OPPO has in store.
