HP Slatebook 14: A Laptop running Android instead of Chrome OS

A 14-inch laptop from HP running Android instead of Chrome OS or even Microsoft Windows

We've heard for some time that we may be seeing some Android laptops coming soon, and most of us dismissed that. But today, well early this morning, some leaks about the HP Slatebook 14 leaked out, and it is running Android and not Chrome OS. The promotional video was first posted by Notebook Italia, and you can check that out here.

The Slatebook 14 comes with a 14-inch display as hinted at by the name. It also has a full HD display, which means it's 1920x1080 resolution on-board. It also has 2GB of RAM, a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra chip - likely the Tegra 4 - along with 3 USB ports, a HDMI out and a SIM card slot. So it looks like we'll have a 3G or LTE model of the Slatebook 14 when it becomes official. It also has Beats Audio inside, which is pretty cool to have, and I'm really liking the black and yellow colors on the HP Slatebook 14.

So that's the HP Slatebook 14. It's a nice looking Android laptop. It'll be interesting to see how much HP sells it for. How much would you be willing to buy this laptop for?
