WonderShare's DreamStream Allows you to Cast files from your PC to the TV

Cast over 20 different file types from your PC to your TV with DreamStream from WonderShare

On Friday, WonderShare announced DreamStream for Chromecast. This new app allows you to stream over 20 different types of media to your TV using Chromecast.

DreamStream is bridging the gap, throwing away the wires, opening restrictions from PC to TV and taking the viewing experience to a whole new level”.

The free version of DreamStream supports a few common file types like AAC, MOV, MP4 and a few others. If you want access to all 20 file types - shown below - you'll need to buy the premium version which is $4.99/month of $44.99/year.

• Video: MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, MPG, WMV, MTS, FLV, M2TS, 3G2, 3GP, DIVX, RM, RMVB, VOB, ASF, TS, DV, F4V, OGV, TOD, TP, TRP, WEBM
• Audio: MP3, AAC, WMA, APE, FLAC, OGG, M4A, WAV, AC3, MP2

The Chromecast is available at most retailers for $35, while some may have it on sale. If you're still looking to pick one up, Amazon has it available for $34.95 right now.
