LG isai FL Leaks out for Japan, Could be a Hint at the LG G3

Now that we’ve got the HTC One (M8) and the Samsung Galaxy S5 launches under our belt, it’s about that time that we begin looking towards LG’s next flagship device. Last year they announced the LG G2 in August, but as history has shown us, we usually get the successor about a month or two earlier each year. So we’re creeping up on the announcement of the LG G3 already. This morning, @evleaks leaked out a press shot of a new LG device heading to Japan. This one is the LG isai FL, kind of a weird name but it is heading to Japan. The same country that made HTC’s J Butterfly popular. It might be giving us some clues as to the design of the LG G3, which we don’t expect to change a whole lot from the LG G2, as many of us love the design.

As you can tell from the image above, and the blue one below, the LG isai FL has even smaller bezels than the LG G2 had. Which were pretty small to begin with. Additionally there is no more menu key (thank God), and we now have a recents button. There’s also a new theme for the icons and such on the home screen, but I’m going to suggest that might be for Japan, because this sounds like an exclusive device, so we may not see that theme here in the US. On the back we have the camera and a volume rocker. It appears that the power button is now on the right side. Or that could be something else entirely. What if it’s a microSD card slot? I know a lot of people that would be excited for that.

The LG isai FL definitely looks like a great device, and if the LG G3 is based off of this design, that would be amazing. I do currently own a LG G2, and really love the design and everything about it – in particular the battery life. What do all the rest of our LG G2 owners think about the LG isai FL? Would you buy it if it were the LG G3?
