Switch to Sprint for the Samsung Galaxy S5, Get up to $650 Back

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

GS5 Galaxy S5 2.82 Sprint

Sprint seems to really be in tight competition with T-Mobile as of late. Since they are both the two smaller national carriers. A distant #3 and #4 respectively, behind AT&T and Verizon. T-Mobile announced at CES that they were paying off your ETF and giving you some cash for trading in your old phone, which they are still doing. But recently, Sprint also announced the same thing. However, it’s not going to last forever. Today, the Galaxy S5 launched on Sprint, so you are able to switch to Sprint and get the Galaxy S5, and get up to $650 back. Now breaking that down, that’s up to $350 for the ETF, and up to another $300 for the trade-in value of your phone. Sprint outlines the whole process in a blog post on their site, which is linked in the sources down below.

Obviously you’ll need to port your number over to Sprint, as well as upload a copy of your final bill from your carrier to be able to get your money. Also you’re not going to get paid instantly. So don’t think that you’ll be able to buy a Galaxy S5 today and get your $650 from Sprint today as well. It’ll take a few weeks to arrive in your mailbox.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a Snapdragon 801 processor, 5.1-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 16MP camera, 2800mAh battery and Android 4.4.2. To put it simply, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is a beast, and now you can own one on Sprint’s network, even if you aren’t a Sprint customer yet. What’s going to be interesting is to see how many people take advantage of this limited time offer and hop on the Sprint bandwagon for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Any takers out there?
