HTC-One-M8 (07)

While the US is getting the HTC One M8 today – at least if you walk into a Verizon store. Those in Canada will have to wait until April to get their hands on the HTC One M8. It appears that most of the major carriers in the great white north are getting the HTC One M8. That includes Bell, Rogers, Telus, Wind and Sasktel. It’ll be $229.99 on a new 2-year contract and around $600-700 off-contract or full retail. All of the Canadian carriers are starting pre-orders today and the HTC One M8 will be available in April. No specific dates available just yet. But as always we’ll be sure to let everyone know as soon as we know more information.

TELUS is offering a bunch of free accessories with the HTC One M8. The carrier is offering the Double Dip case, the HTC Fetch and a 9000mAh external battery pack. Which makes it sound like an incredible deal.

Much like here in the US, the pre-orders for Bell, Rogers, TELUS, Wind and Sasktel will start at 1pm ET. So those looking to pick up a HTC One M8 in Canada will have to wait a bit longer, but at least you can pre-order it starting today. The HTC One M8 has a 5-inch 1080p display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset and 2GB of RAM. It is also running Android 4.4.2 and Sense 6. The HTC One M8 is also packing a 2600mAh battery inside to keep you going all day, which is said to have some pretty incredible standby time which we can all get behind 2 weeks of standby – I think. It’s also available in Amber Gold, Glacial Silver and Gunmetal Gray. Colors may vary depending on carrier, but once again as soon as we learn more we’ll be sure to update everyone.

Any of our Canadian friends planning on pre-ordering the HTC One M8?
