Introducing Samsung Fingers, Tomorrows Wearable Device Today

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

Samsung-Fingers_Header-Image

Ahh how we love April fools. A good joke on the first of April is always a good way to start the month, so long as you don’t take it too far. This means tasteful jokes with a playful side that everyone can enjoy, and probably some that at least one person will find annoying but lets face it, the jokes will be hilarious to every one else. Google is pretty good at making April Fools fun for everyone on the web, as we’ve seen from past years and all the stuff that has already been thrown out today a day early, like the Pokemon challenge which seemed to start off the landslide of April Fools pranks to follow. Google isn’t the only one getting in on the fun anymore though as it would seem that Samsung has joined in on the April Fools day shenanigans with this special new device they’re calling Samsung fingers.

The joke is that they will be releasing a new wearable device that will really take your wearables and smart gadget experiences to the next level, with a glove that you can wear that has an embedded flexible display in the palm. As the description states, the glove’s display is a 3-inch UHD Super Emo LCD screen, the best kind of display for all your emo album art. If the display wasn’t enough to draw your attention, they have hidden a 16MP camera inside the glove somewhere, which is funny if you think about the quality of the camera that they have built into the new Gear wearables devices that are to launch soon.

Among the ridiculously named display, there is a list of other outlandish specs like 4GB of RAM, because who doesn’t want to play the most graphically advanced, memory intensive games for mobile on a glove? Our favorite is probably the S-Laser, which is a hidden beam projector allowing you to, we guess project the contents of what’s on the display onto a wall or other flat surface. Although S-Laser would have been cooler if it was actually a laser, or real in the first place. The glove also comes with more storage space than most phones from a year ago, at 32GB or 64GB options. Samsung Fingers also has just about every sensor one could need inside a wearable device, like the newly introduced heart rate monitor from the Galaxy S5, a thermometer, barmoeter, compass, palm-rec, RGB ambient light, gesture(IR), and of course your accelerometer, gyros, and proximity sensors.

The best features that steal the show are arguably the ones that give this little prank away, like flatulent auditory reproduction, S-Charge which has you hold your hand up in the air while wearing the glove outside to use solar charging power, and of course the Palm-rec, which gives users relevant information on whatever they hold in their hands while wearing Samsung Fingers like status of the object, as depicted in the image below. The idea of Samsung Fingers is actually quite ridiculous, but it’s good to see Sammy playing along with the all the pranks. you can check out Samsung’s post on the new tech here, and lets us in know in the comments what your favorite feature was.

Microsoft Is Bringing Official Outlook Web App To Android Soon

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

Outlook

Is Microsoft on an android kick? Is there some underlying devious reason why they suddenly started plopping their apps onto android? Most likely not, but we know there are lots of users out there that are happy about the situation. Last week Microsoft brought the entire office suite(Word, Excel, Powerpoint) to Android smartphones without the need to have a subscriber based Microsoft Office 365 account, and this week they’re gracing us with an announcement that an official Microsoft Outlook app for Android is in the works. Those of you who use Microsoft outlook as your daily driver or have Outlook exchange for work or business, can finally say hello to what would seem like easy Android integration through an official Microsoft application as opposed to third party alternative email clients.

Some key things to point out about the upcoming application are that this won’t effect exchange for other email clients. So if you already use a specific email client that has outlook exchange enabled and you aren’t keen on switching, there’s no reason to. Microsoft has mentioned that all platforms that are currently supported will continue to be supported. The app once made available to the public, is also said to look strikingly close to Microsoft’s already existing Outlook web app, and will have similar functionality. We’re hoping that it has a nice UI, as nothing turns us off to apps such as this more than a horrible user interface that just isn’t pleasing to look at. Although there was no mention specifically of when to expect this app to touch down on the Play Store, we’d imagine it isn’t too far off, since the iOS version is already readily available.

We should expect fairly complete integration with our Outlook accounts like calendar entries, contacts, notes, etc. but so far Microsoft hasn’t spread the word on any sort of features that we should look out for. Many of us are probably familiar with using Outlook as plenty of businesses still use outlook and other Microsoft solutions to power their business, and we’ve all probably had a personal outlook account at some point in our lives. Microsoft brought this to our attention via a blog post today, and there’s even a handy little image below so we can get an idea of what the app will look like.

Google Continues April Fools Day Fun With Virgin/Nest Partnership Video

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

Screenshot (502)

Google’s earlier reported Pokemon challenge within Google Maps is just the beginning of the April 1st tom foolery to come. Apparently Tony Fadell didn’t want to be left out and wanted to join in on the fun, and joining Fadell in this short but sweet parody video is Founder and CEO of Virgin, Richard Branson, who’s Virgin Atlantic airline is currently testing Google Glass on flights to better the experience for passengers. In the parody video the two company CEO’s announce a partnership to bring individual climate controlled temperatures to every passenger who flies with Virgin Air, with Nests smart thermostats. If you own a Nest smart thermostat then you already know the wonders that it can bring to the climate control inside your home, so hearing about this at first was awesome, then you learn that it was just a stunt to have a little fun for April Fools.

Throughout the short video the two partners talk about how they’re surprised that no one has thought of this sooner as it seems like a no brainer, and on a quick realistic note, we’re wondering the same thing? All jokes aside for just a moment, individual climate control for each passenger sounds like a really great idea. Now back to the jokes. The video actually looks and sounds very professional, most of the way… then you begin to hear the names of the different preset climate temperatures like Cancun Afternoon and Chicago Polar Vortex. The guy that describes how the presets work also has a sort of comical tone with the way that he talks, so you can immediately gather that the whole video is just part of the round of spoofs from Google were bound to see this year.

More fun will undoubtedly pop up tomorrow and we’ll be sure to inform you of all of it if we can, but the April Fools jokes are off to a great start and we can’t wait to see what Google’s plans are for tomorrow. While we know that the whole Virgin/Nest partnership is just a joke, what are some great preset climate names you could think of that would have been a perfect fit for this video spoof? We’d love to know!

LG Ranks As Fastest Growing Android OEM In The U.S. With The G2 Leading The Way

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

tumblr_m5jlu67q2R1r92dvlo1_1280

Samsung may be the current largest android manufacturer in the U.S., but no one is growing faster than LG. Yes, LG is Korea’s other major electronics company that people tend to forget about, and although the company still lags behind Samsung and Apple for smartphone share here inside the United States, they now hold a total of 8% marketshare when it comes to android devices in the country. Android as a whole has gained a total of 3.8 % of smartphone marketshare over the past year. This growth from LG has put them into the third place ranking of smartphone manufacturers in the US, and with recent devices it’s easy to see why.

According to Kantar Worldpanel ComTech who did the study that includes this data, LG is gaining marketshare within the US based off of its lineup of high-end devices that it offers to customers, compared to the large amount of low-end handsets we have seen from them in the past. LG’s biggest contributor so far is the LG G2. When compared against the iPhone 5S and the Galaxy Note 3, the LG G2 ranked higher for customer recommendation scores with a score of 9.2 out of 10, with the iPhone 5S coming in second of the three at 9.1, and the Note 3 bringing up the rear with a score of 9 even. This is good news for LG, who has been steadily producing higher quality handsets, and has produced the last two Nexus devices with rumors of being the OEM selected for the Nexus 6, and their follow up to the G2, the LG G3 is coming later this year.

Like every OEM, LG has their downfalls, like their slow to update time frame for newer versions of the Android software, but when it comes to the overall experience of the handsets consumers seem to be extremely happy with the choices they have made. If this trend continues for LG, they just might have a shot at dethroning Samsung as the reigning king of Android smartphones, although that would take some time and continued effort to bring customers first class experiences as something like that wouldn’t happen over night.

Samsung Quietly Included a Baby Monitor in the Galaxy S 5′s Settings

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

samsung-galaxy-s5-baby-monitor

The Galaxy S 5 was announced just over a month ago at MWC in Barcelona on February 24th. The overall announcement was much calmer than the Galaxy S 4 announcement the year before. Samsung mostly covered the hardware and some of their newer features in their announcement, however they didn’t show the software side of the phone too much.

The Galaxy S 5 is almost set for its global launch on April 11th. Many carriers have already started pre-orders for the new device. The Galaxy S 5 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera, a fingerprint scanner on the home button, a heart rate sensor on the back and a new “perforated” rear cover of the phone. Internally, the Galaxy S 5 features a 2800 mAh battery, 2 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor.

We’re just now learning that Samsung has snuck in an interesting accessibility feature into their new flagship. This new feature is designed specifically for parents with young children. If you have a Samsung Galaxy S 5 and a Gear smartwatch, then this feature will work for you. Basically, you leave the phone in the room with your child and if the S 5 detects a child crying, you will receive a notification on your watch.

Samsung does not intend for this feature to be heavily relied upon. They mention in the accessibility option that this is no replacement for human caregiving. They also don’t want you to leave your child alone in the house or building. Samsung designed this accessibility setting more as an aid to parents, rather than a babysitter. Also, it is important to note that Samsung wants the phone to be within 1m of the sleeping child for it to work in the most accurate way possible.

We’ll have to wait and see what other features Samsung has hidden in its new flagship. This baby monitor seems like it could be useful, but you’ll want to make sure that your phone is on silent, or you’ll wake your child up if you get a phone call or notification. It’s really interesting to see Samsung add these features into their phone without really mentioning them. What do you think of Samsung’s new baby monitor in the Galaxy S 5? Do you think it could be a useful tool, or is it a gimmick?

Samsung’s 2,800 mAh Battery For The Galaxy S5 Was Put To The Test

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

batterys5ah1

Despite all the flack that Samsung has been given recently for their latest flagship device, it would seem that at least the battery is surprising people. What we mean is that the S5′s battery life when compared to other top smartphones comes out ahead. The series of tests completed was to show how well the Galaxy S5 and other high end comparable smartphones perform with life of battery when using certain activities. With the Galaxy S5 having a 2,800 mAh battery you’d think it would be a little lower on the totem pole but according to these charts that isn’t the case.

What we see in these three charts is that the Galaxy S5 actually does surprisingly well in all of them, displaying that even with a battery that holds less power it can still provide longer, better battery life than something has more juice packed inside. Each test was designed to see how well the battery would perform during a specific activity, like 3D gaming, talk time, and internet browsing, all of which might be some of the most battery intensive activities one could do with their devices. In every test the Galaxy S5 was compared to the iPhone 5S, the LG G2, the Sony Xperia Z1, the Galaxy Note 3, and the Nexus 5. Samsung came out ahead of all other devices in two of the the three tests, which were talk time and 3D gaming, with the iPhone 5S barely beating out the Galaxy S5 in the battery life test while internet browsing.

It would seem that Samsung has done some things right with this new phone, even if some of us aren’t too fond of the design. The optimizations they have made to the phones software appear to making a pretty big difference in situations where customers will likely be using their phone plenty of the time. Now we all know how some of you feel about test scores when it comes to devices and their stats, and we know that many variables can be taken into account with the way the battery life lasts for some compared to these tests. With that being said, the battery life looks promising for the Galaxy S5, and when you factor in ultra power saving mode the battery life seems to be much more formidable than people expected.

April Fools 2014: Google Announces Gmail Shelfie

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

Gmail1

Yes, you are right it is March 31st, and not April 1st. But it looks like Google has started their April Fools jokes early this year. We’ve already seen the Pokemon on Google Maps, and the video of Nest CEO Tony Fadell. Now we’re seeing one from the Gmail team. Which they are calling Gmail Shelfie. What it is, is a way to share selfies through Gmail (Share + Selfie = Shelfie, same as Friends + Family = Framily on Sprint). As most of you know, Selfie is the new hot thing right now. Heck Samsung even paid Ellen to take a selfie with a ton of people. It’s even in the Oxford Dictionary as an official word and the front-facing camera on the HTC One M8 is called the Selfie cam.

Google is celebrating Gmail’s 10th birthday with Gmail Shelfies today. When themes launched back in 2012, Google urged us to find the best picture for a theme, and well they say that many of us used pictures of ourselves, there’s even a graph on their blog post to prove it. Google says that Gmail Shelfie is built on the idea that you shouldn’t be selfish with your selfie, and that you should share it. Which is why they are rolling out Gmail Shelfies today. They say the feature should be rolling out in the next few hours. We’re not sure if that’s for real or just another April Fools joke.

Typically Google goes all out for April Fools day. In fact, last year I remember quite a few April Fools jokes from Google. but as far as their April Fools pranks go, this one is kind of lame, compared to others that they’ve done in the past. I think the Google Maps one is a much better prank than the Gmail Shelfie. But be sure to let us know what you think in the comments down below about this prank.

Google Lets You Catch Em All In Google Maps Pokemon Challenge For April Fools Day

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

Screenshot (496)

Google is known for having a little bit of fun where ever they can, and they always manage to do something fun and crazy for April Fools Day. Last year they showed us one of their newest innovations called Google Nose, with the tagline ‘smelling is believing’, allowing you to utilize your smartphone to smell things through the screen using Google Search. While this was just one of the pranks we’ve grown to love from the search company, it was one of the funniest videos they had put out and was really good for a laugh. They also put up Google Treasure Maps, which was quite fun to play with as well. This year for the pranks and April Fools jokes, they have basically turned Google Maps into a giant world full of Pokemon. You can scroll around the map on your Android or iOS device and find Pokemon just hanging out in random places, and if you tap on them, you will get a chance to Catch it by tapping the little pokeball button in the bottom corner of the screen.

By catching pokemon you can then go back and view them in your pokedex, (for those unaware, the pokedex is a catalog within the game that shows you all your pokemon and the information about them) and tapping on each pokemon in your pokedex will show you data on that particular pokemon. There are 150 pokemon in total to catch within Google Maps for android, and you can find them all over the world just by zooming in on the map in larger cities. I found a couple in Portland, but there are literally tons in Tokyo and also quite a few around the Google Plex in Mountain View.

Catching the pokemon has never been this simple, but if you’re a fan of the game series the fun stops with simply finding and collecting them. Although that’s as interactive as it gets, it should put a smile on your face. If you want to keep track of your pokedex you can get back to it by tapping on the search bar within maps when it’s blank, and that will give you an option to open the pokedex or go back to the poke lab(google plex). See if you can catch em all.

Lenovo’s CEO Talks about Branding Motorola

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

Lenovo-N308-All-in-one-Review-AH (05)

Earlier this year, we were all shocked to hear that Google had sold Motorola to Lenovo. However, on the other hand it really wasn’t shocking as Motorola had been losing a ton of money every quarter since before Google bought them, and it was driving a wedge between Google and their OEM partners like Samsung and HTC. So Motorola was sold to Lenovo. The deal isn’t yet complete, but we’ve been hearing more and more about Lenovo’s plans for Motorola in the long run. For a little bit we had heard that Lenovo would keep the Motorola branding, especially in markets in which they are already established in, like the US, Latin America and parts of Europe. We might even see “Motorola by Lenovo” branding. In fact, Lenovo has said that they don’t plan to change Motorola at all in those established markets, which is a sigh of relief for Motorola fans and users. But we know something’s going to change. It has too, or else they’ll be continuing to lose money each and every quarter.

Lenovo’s CEO has been dropping hints about what they plan to do with Motorola, but remember that is not the entire plan. Yang will have to wait until the acquisition is approved before he can really put his plans in movement and turn Motorola around, which Lenovo says they can do it in just a few quarters which is something I want to see. With that said, Motorola’s 2014 lineup is already done and was completed under the Google ownership, so we aren’t looking at a Lenovo made Moto X2 coming this summer, or even the Lenovo-made Moto 360 coming next quarter. But those were both under Google’s leadership, which means Dennis Woodside’s leadership as well.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Motorola once the Lenovo acquisition is complete. How many of you are interested in what happens with Motorola in the next year or so?

LG G2 Mini Reportedly Heading to Sprint as the LS885

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

g2miniah

According to our favorite tipster, Evleaks, it looks like the LG G2 Mini is heading stateside to at least one US carrier. That would be Sprint. He posted today that the LG G2 Mini would be hitting the nation’s third largest carrier as the model LS885. Now the LG G2 Mini isn’t as highly specced as the LG G2, but it is still a pretty decent device – depending on what Sprint prices it at.

The specs on the LG G2 Mini look like a 4.7-inch 960×540 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor (MSM8226) which is clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, and it has a 2440mAh battery inside. So not the same specs as the LG G2, but as far as all the specs go I think it’s all respectable except for the screen. Obviously this is a mid-range device, hence the mini, but on the bright side, at least with a qHD display the battery life will be pretty good. Which it is a 2440mAh battery inside, so it should last you basically all day long anyways.

The LG G2 Mini I’d expect to be priced at around $49 on contract from Sprint, or around $400 outright. Which at that pricing, if you can afford it, I’d say go for the Nexus 5. As it is still an LG device, but has much better specs and an even smaller price tag. Not to mention updates straight from Google, which means they’ll be much faster. But at least LG has added a microSD card slot on this device. Making the 8GB of storage not to bad after all. Hopefully Apps2SD works on the G2 Mini.

Crackle Adds Chromecast Support with Latest Update

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

Chromecast-AH-2

For those of you that use Sony-owned Crackle, you can now rejoice as the latest update for Crackle has added Chromecast support. So now you can stream your favorite content on Crackle from your Android-powered smartphone or tablet to your TV with ease.

If you’re unaware, the Google Chromecast is a $35 HDMI dongle for you TV that allows you to stream content from your smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer to your TV. There are more and more apps coming out with Chromecast support now that the SDK is available. But some of the major names are Google Play Music, Google Play Movies & TV, Netflix, Pandora, Allcast, Hulu Plus, and now Crackle. There are plenty of others available too. You will need to have the Chromecast and the device you are planning to cast from on the same wifi network for it to work. Which is great because you won’t have to worry about data overages on your cell phone bill.

In addition to the Chromecast, there is also the new Roku HDMI dongle which is about $50 and already has had Crackle support for quite a while now. They also have about 1000 channels on their devices to choose from as well. So there’s definitely more content. If you’re interested in picking up the new Roku HDMI dongle, it’s also a great choice. Right now Roku and Apple own the living room space, unfortunately, but I’m thinking in about another year, Google is going to surpass them. Simply because the Chromecast is simple and relatively cheap. They are also planning to do more Chromecast devices in 2014. So hopefully we’ll see plenty more for Chromecast this year, like it being available in more countries.

How many of you are using Crackle? Are you glad to see Chromecast support finally come to the app? Let us know in the comments below.

Sprint’s LG G2 Getting KitKat…Today!

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

LG-G2-T-Mobile-KitKat-Update-AH

I’ve been hearing fellow LG G2 owners on Sprint asking for weeks when their taste of KitKat would arrive via OTA, and it appears that today is the day. Sprint has just announced that the update is now rolling out via OTA to G2 devices on their network. So if you’re on Sprint, you can now jump up and down in joy as you are about to get some KitKat love. The change log has not been posted just yet, but we expect it to be relatively the same compared to the AT&T, and T-Mobile G2 updates as well as the Canadian update.

That means improved cloud printing, immersive mode, white status bar icons, and much more. You can check out my KitKat overview video on the T-Mobile LG G2 down below, if you’re interested to see what’s new. I’d also expect some bug fixes in there, possibly some network fixes as well, which is quite common with OTAs for carriers.

If you are on Sprint and have the LG G2, I suggest you jump into Settings, tap on About phone and Check for updates. So you can pull down your taste of KitKat. It’s a great update on the G2 – I can only speak for the T-Mobile variant – and I’m sure you all are going to love it. If you notice in the update that “Bluetooth” is in your battery stats and you don’t have it on, don’t worry too much. It’s a known bug that we’ve had for quite a while – not sure if it’s coming to the Sprint G2 as well so just a heads up. I’m still getting relatively the same, if not better, battery life on KitKat as I did on Jelly Bean. So don’t worry about it too much.

How many of you are on Sprint and excited to get the KitKat update finally?

Here’s a Concept of a HTC Tablet Based off of the One M8

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

HTC-One-Tab-M8-tablet-concept-1-490x180

We heard from the CEO of HTC, Peter Chou last week that there is a tablet in the works as well as wearables. Which got most of us excited. There are a couple of us here at Android Headlines that love HTC’s build quality, but don’t really like their software too much – but that was also before Sense 6. So when we heard that there is a HTC tablet coming, we all got pretty excited. Now there’s a new concept image out of the device, which yes they are fake that’s what “concepts” are. It looks a bit strange to me, it’s basically a stretched out HTC One M8, which is what the tablet is based off of anyways. Hasan Kaymak put this one together for us, and gave us some specs as well.

There’s a 8.9-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM, with storage ranging from 32GB-128GB along with a microSD card slot, 4G LTE connectivity, 8-9mm thick, with Sense 6.5. It’s basically our dream tablet. Partially because of the specs, but also the front-facing speakers. For a while there, Samsung was putting front-facing speakers on their tablets, but for some reason they stopped, and put them on the sides. Their last tablets with front-facing speakers are the Nexus 10 and Galaxy Note 10.1. Hopefully they bring that back because front-facing speakers are pretty amazing.

In the concept images, it is keeping the same 4MP UltraPixel camera and duo-camera module, and say what you want, but on a tablet I don’t think the camera is a big deal. Not as big of a deal as it is on a smartphone. I think the bigger deal is the front-facing camera which you’d use for Hangouts, Skype, etc.

Control Chromecast from your Wrist Thanks to Latest Music Boss Update for Pebble

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

pebblemusicboss

While I still don’t have a real need for a smart watch in my everyday life – at least until Android Wear is available – being able to control Chromecast from your wrist is pretty awesome. And that’s just what is possible with the latest Music Boss update for Pebble. With the latest update for Music Boss you can now control the volume and playback right from your Pebble. Which is pretty cool, I think. But It’d be even cooler if there was Chromecast functionality built into every app on the Pebble App Store. However, I think we may get that with Android Wear, who knows.

The update doesn’t give you all the controls you’d like to have, but it allows you to play, pause, and resume playback as well as adjusting the volume. I’m sure we’ll see more controls in the near future though. Music Boss does work with a slew of media players like Google Play Music, Songza, Netflix and more. The app is available in the Play Store for a buck ninety-nine or $1.99 for those that like numbers better. It may be a bit pricey for a smart watch app, but many users are loving it’s usefulness so it’s worth a try. Don’t forget that you get 15 minutes to return your app for a refund. However if it’s over the 15 minutes, usually if you email the developer they are more than happy to refund you.

For those of you with a Pebble and a Chromecast, this is a pretty awesome update. If you own both devices, and are using Music Boss, be sure to let us know in the comments down below how you’re liking this new update to Music Boss. As it seems really interesting, and almost makes me want to buy a Pebble – but I’m resisting and waiting for all the Android Wear devices instead.

What’s Next for Flexible Displays from LG and Samsung?

via AndroidHeadlines.com |

LG-G-Flex-T-Mobile-AH-Review (10)

Last year, we began seeing our first smartphones with flexible displays, from rival Korean manufacturers LG and Samsung. LG announced the G Flex, a few days before Samsung announced their Galaxy Round. Which is pretty typical of LG. When they know Samsung is going to announce something, they will announce it a day or two before to say they were first. The Samsung Galaxy Round only launched in Korea, and on one carrier. While the LG G Flex is actually here in the US, and on 3 out of the 4 carriers, which is actually quite surprising. So what’s next on the horizon of flexible displays?

According to ETNews who spoke with industry insiders, LG will be working on reducing the size of their flexible display and improving other aspects like the resolution. The LG G Flex is a 6-inch display, but with a 720p resolution. While it didn’t look too bad during my time with the device, it definitely was not a selling point for most people. While Samsung is working on different forms of AMOLED, which are said to be a game-changer.

While Samsung has the 1080p display on their Galaxy Round, it’s not as flexible as the LG G Flex’s display. Which probably explains why we are seeing higher specs from Samsung than LG. But I’m sure with the next iteration we’ll see higher specs. We’ve already seen Samsung put a curved display on another device, that would be the Samsung Gear Fit. Which is a really nice looking device and will be on sale in about 2 weeks. I’m interested to see what other devices LG is going to put their flexible or curved display on, maybe some wearables? I think they’d really excel there with flexible and curved displays. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see how the Gear Fit works in real life and how well it sells before we can be sure.
